CFC 2: A Night to Remember

Turkey’s rising MMA organization CFC 2 exceeded all expectations, delivering one of the most memorable nights in combat sports history. Held on Thursday, December 11, at Volkswagen Arena, the event brought together thousands of fans in the arena and tens of thousands of MMA enthusiasts watching from screens, all treated to thrilling and high-level bouts.

In the main event of the night, long-standing rivals from CFC 1, Erdem Taha Dinçer and Mavlud Tifiyev, faced each other in a highly anticipated matchup. The bout ended when Dinçer was disqualified following an illegal knee strike, awarding the victory to Tifiyev. The tension continued after the fight, as a confrontation between Carlos Prates and Mavlud Tifiyev became one of the most talked-about moments of the evening.

In the co-main event, James Llontop, who previously competed in the UFC against Mauricio Ruffy, squared off against Evgeny Morozov, known for his impressive knockout at CFC 1. Llontop’s resilience and Morozov’s relentless pace turned the fight into one of the night’s standout contests.

Another notable bout featured İşfak Seyit, who had made headlines by defeating a former Cage Warriors champion at the April 26 event, taking on Eduardo Torres. The fight went the distance and was decided by the judges, marking the first professional loss of İşfak Seyit’s career.

CFC 2 also delivered several firsts. Bediha Tacyıldız stepped into the cage for the first time in her career. Her bout against Chiara Giusti was stopped due to an illegal strike and ultimately ruled a draw. On the undercard, Mahsun Şehzade faced Ruizhi Hao, with the judges awarding the victory to Ruizhi Hao after a closely contested fight.

The organization received widespread praise for its high production quality, well-balanced fight card, and the athletes’ outstanding performances. From the opening bout to the final bell, CFC 2 maintained its intensity, offering fans not just fights, but a true MMA experience at international standards.

Featuring both domestic and international fighters, the event earned high marks from MMA fans for its technical level, competitive spirit, electric crowd atmosphere, broadcast quality, and organizational discipline.

With its second event, CFC raised the bar even higher, reinforcing its strong presence in the MMA scene and building excitement for future events.
